2023 Annual Meeting is Wednesday, April 26 at 7:00 P.M.  All are welcome to attend.

Flushing:  Hoosier Hills Water performs yearly flushing of the distribution system every October.  Typically, in the first two (2) weeks, flushing takes place in Franklin and Ripley Counties (North of Milan) and the second two (2) weeks in Dearborn and Ripley Counties (South of Milan).  Low pressure or no water may be experienced along with periods of discolored water.

HELP WANTED-UTILITY LABORER

Hoosier Hills Water is seeking (2) skilled maintenance workers to assist in the field operations water department. 

The individual will be required to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and construction tasks including but not limited to: water main repairs, tap installs, work orders (i.e.) shut off/on, check for leaks, and landscape repairs.  The individual must have mechanical aptitude for the tools and equipment including operating light and heavy-duty motor vehicle/construction equipment. 

The individual must be in good physical condition and have the ability to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, twist and stoop for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds. The candidate must be able to work outside in all weather extremes.  Indiviuals must be available for paid overtime 24-hour call outs and emergency duties. 

This position requires a high school dipolma or equivalent. The individual must maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for this position.

Individual is required to have a CDL clas "A" license and should have a good driving record. The candidate will be required to obtain Wastewater and Water License after two years of employment.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours with sick, vacation and holiday pay.
